The mat finish exterior mirror housing is constructed of the exclusive material carbon and emphasises the sporty design of the model. The material carbon or CFRP (carbon fibre reinforced plastic) was originally used in motor sport. This high-tech material emphasises exclusivity and individuality on series models. The exterior mirror cap has been tested in the Audi wind tunnel with regard to its aerodynamics and aeroacoustics. The excellent component quality of the item allows precise and clean assembly.
