2. What type of personal data do we process?
On this Website we only process the following categories of personal data:
- Identifying and contact data, for example, your name, surname, telephone number or e-mail address.
- Data about your vehicle, such as: VIN number.
3. For what purposes do we process your personal data?
We inform you that at VGED we process personal data in a lawful and transparent manner for the following purposes:
- To respond to your questions, queries and/or requests, as well as to manage and attend to the interest eventually shown in a product or service of the AUDI brand marketed by VGED.
4. What is the legitimacy for the processing of your personal data?
For the purpose described in point 1 of paragraph 3, the processing of your personal data is legitimized by the execution of relationships and pre-contractual dealings; as well as the legitimate interest of VGED in responding to your inquiries or requests.
Additionally, calls may be recorded by VGED in order to assess and improve the quality of the services we offer to our customers, as well as to meet your requests, train our employees to provide a service. This treatment applies to both existing customers and potential customers, being the legitimate basis of treatment the legitimate interest of VGED.
5. How long will we keep your personal data?
Your personal data will be processed for as long as they are necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected. As soon as the purpose is extinguished, your personal data will be blocked for the applicable retention period, depending on the liabilities that may arise. Once this period has elapsed, they will be definitively deleted.
6. To which recipients will your personal data be communicated?
VGED will only communicate your personal data to those third parties to whom it is legally or contractually obliged to communicate them. By way of illustration, third parties contracted to provide services, such as technical and IT support services, should have access to your personal data in their capacity as data processors. We also inform you that VGED contracts part of its virtual infrastructure with Salesforce.com, Inc, an entity domiciled at The Landmark, 1 Market Street, San Francisco CA 94105, United States, so that your personal data may be transferred internationally. VGED has signed appropriate standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission to ensure that your personal data is sufficiently protected in accordance with data protection regulations.
Also, VGED may communicate your personal data to Audi AG since both companies provide essential services for the proper functioning of VGED as a representative in Spain.
In addition to the above, your personal data may be communicated to our official services, in order to allow them to attend to the interest eventually shown in a product of the AUDI brand.
7. What are your rights when you provide us with your personal data?
As a data subject, you have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether we are processing your personal data, as well as to access them, to request the rectification of your personal data in the event that they are inaccurate, to the portability of your data provided that the conditions provided by the data protection regulations are met and to the deletion of your data when, among other reasons, they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected. Also, in certain circumstances you may object to the processing of your personal data, as well as request the limitation of the processing of your personal data.
In addition, in those cases that are treated on the basis of the consent given, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent prior to its withdrawal.
