The design of the Audi backrest protection is designed to coordinate with the child seat underlay and with the vehicle interior. The back of the seat is additionally protected against soiling, e.g. from children's shoes, with the backrest protection. The surface material can be easily cleaned. The 4 practical storage pockets offer additional storage for travel accessories. The backrest protection is attached to the back of the front seat. The individual position can be adapted to suite the seat geometry using the belt. There is a magnetic fastener attached to the belt at the top to ease fitting. The upper strap of the backrest protection must always be routed around the head restraint rods and both lower straps must be hooked into the bottom of the seat structure and secured. The backrest protection must not be secured to the plastic panel on the back of the seat or the seat cover as these do not provide sufficient attachment in the case of a crash To protect the passengers on the rear seat, no glass bottles as well as heavy and pointed articles may be stowed away in the backrest protection The total weight of the stowed objects may not exceed 0.750 kg.
